Introduction

On March 20, 2019, we launched a special initiative called Gudhi Shikshanachi aimed at bringing the joy of education to young children living in difficult circumstances. These children, living near a garbage dumping ground, often face significant barriers to education. Our goal was to encourage them to attend school by providing the essential supplies they need to succeed.

Purpose of the Event

The purpose of Gudhi Shikshanachi was simple yet powerful: to motivate underprivileged children to pursue their education by removing some of the obstacles in their way. By providing them with the necessary school supplies, we hoped to spark their interest in learning and encourage them to attend school regularly.

Activities and Highlights

The day was filled with smiles and excitement as volunteers from our foundation distributed various stationery items to the children. Each child received a pencil box, a compass box, notebooks, and other essential educational materials. These small yet crucial items can make a big difference in a child’s ability to learn and participate in school.

The children’s faces lit up with joy as they received their new supplies. For many of them, these were the first proper school items they had ever owned. It was heartwarming to see how something as simple as a new notebook or pencil could bring so much happiness and hope.

The volunteers also spent time talking to the children about the importance of education and how it can help them build a better future. The message was clear: education is a powerful tool, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn.

Reflection and Impact
